Liquidity Forecasting Manager (AVP level equivalent)

We have been appointed to manage the Treasury department recruitment campaign for one of the UK’s top high impact Banks. The department is expanding in anticipation of considerable balance sheet growth resulting from a recently announced acquisition deal. This particular role is a fantastic chance to join the Liquidity Reporting function, at a time when the team is expanding its remit. The team is responsible for overseeing the production and review of liquidity reporting and forecasting, ensuring they are setup for future regulatory and business changes as well as supporting the efficiency agenda. Hybrid working available - You can use various UK office locations(including London) from which to fulfil your two day a week office attendance requirement

Role Description

  • Support in leading the team that is responsible for implementing changes to liquidity forecasting processes
  • Forecasting changes to short-term and long-term forecasts which support business decisions through the Financial Planning process, various stress testing activity, including CST and Recovery & Resolution and Funding in Resolution (FiR)
  • Shape and influence the team and wider team agenda as well as managing external relationships
  • Undertake daily reporting tasks, this will give you exposure to a broader range of liquidity and product risk reporting, from the daily liquidity reporting pack to the internal product risk (retail hedging) tickets
  • Reporting and forecasting change deliverables which require understanding of forecasting process and key liquidity and funding metrics
  • Support regulatory reporting change programmes, helping to deliver important changes to future reporting

Role Requirements

  • Good understanding of key liquidity and funding metrics (LCR, NSFR, WSF ratio) and application to forecast balance sheet
  • Reporting experience for forecasting activity such as Stress Testing, Recovery & Resolution, funding in resolution (liquidity metric forecasting)
  • People management experience (of small team) and ability to lead/motivate others and support senior consultant
  • Able to adapt to changing requirements and be flexible with deliverables to support project/agile working
  • Thrive under pressure and working to tight timelines, good organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel skills, including delivery of new reporting or forecasting solutions
  • Good problem solving skills
