Growing payments fintech need the help of an experienced finance Regulatory Reporting professional for a 6-month contract.

Role Description

This role sits at the heart of the fintech’s regulatory finance agenda, with a primary focus on delivering accurate, timely and well-controlled regulatory reporting across the Group. The role is particularly suited to someone who combines strong regulatory reporting experience with a practical mindset on automation, process improvement and control strengthening. The successful candidate will lead and enhance finance-led regulatory reporting processes across relevant legal entities, while helping to build a more scalable, automated and robust control environment.

Role Requirements

Strong experience in bank regulatory reporting (COREP/ PRA 110), financial controls or a closely related finance role within a regulated financial services environment, with relevant experience in banking as well as payments, e-money or fintech.

We have been appointed to manage the Treasury department recruitment campaign for one of the UK’s top high impact Banks. The latest phase of this will see us offer a series of fixed term / day rate contract roles to market. This particular role will focus on the review of the Bank’s IRB model to ensure compliance with key regulations. Growing challenger bank are now in the position to hire an experienced Regulatory Reporting Accountant due to an internal promotion. Based in central London they encourage office time of 4-days per week. This role will suit either the equivalent of a senior AVP, or junior VP from a major bank who wants a role where they have full ownership of the process; or a 2IC in a smaller bank who wants the step up. Experience in 'change the bank' is seen as valuable as 'run the bank'.

We are helping a well-known UK wholesale bank, with a focus on emerging markets, with their search for a new Head of Prudential Reporting . This is the second of two newly created roles they have in their Treasury team. You will lead the preparation, review, control and submission of prudential and conduct regulatory returns. Ensuring accuracy across the Group and providing ownership of regulatory change, data quality and submission governance. The head office is in London which you will need to attend 3 days a week, with WFH the rest of the time
