Senior Prudential Risk Analyst – RRP

A global investment banking and asset management client of ours has appointed us exclusively to find them someone to Join their prudential risk team. This person will play a key role in Recovery, Resolution and Wind-down planning across the EMEA businesses and regulated entities. The EMEA Prudential Risk team you will be a part of in this role is focused on prudential rule interpretation, policy and advice; risk oversight; stress testing and recovery, resolution and wind-down planning – all of which you will get exposure to and opportunities to rotate into

Role Description

  • Coordinating and preparing recovery plans, resolution returns and wind-down plans as required by the Bank’s EMEA regulated entities including a European bank and a number of UK and European investment and asset management firms
  • Working collaboratively with stakeholders from across the organisation including Finance, Risk, Treasury, and the Front Office, as well as the senior management team of each entity
  • Making sure that there is consistency with exercises undertaken by other teams such as ICAAPs, ICARAs and ILAAPs
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments and policy changes issued by both European and UK regulatory authorities impacting recovery, resolution and wind-down planning

Role Requirements

  • Knowledge of recovery and resolution planning under UK and European regulations with experience of working on these exercises for a bank and / or investment firm
  • Or in the absence of the RRP experience above then experience within the capital adequacy or liquidity management areas of such firms would work as well
  • Experience of playing a role in projects involving stakeholders from across organisations and resolving problems that may arise
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels
