We are working with an Ethical Banking client in the southern home counties to help them find a new Treasury Analyst to join their Treasury team. The primary purpose of the role is assisting the Treasury Manager in the running and maintenance of the Balance Sheet Management system, along with assisting in preparing prudential documents. Role Description
- Responsible for the daily running and maintenance of the new Balance Sheet Management system
- Preparation of ALCO pack and taking ALCO minutes
- Maintaining treasury processes and documentation
- Keep up to date with the ongoing regulatory changes which are anticipated over the next 12 months
- Preparation of data tables and narrative for prudential policy documents
- Coordinate collection of the monthly Early Warning Signals reporting
- Leveraging the Balance Sheet Management system in production of the quarterly Bank ALCO pack
- Maintaining the Deposit Behaviourlisation model
- Involvement in the annual budgeting cycle
- Assisting the Head of Regulatory Reporting with the month-end process and associated reporting
Role Requirements
- Degree level educated
- Significant experience in a Treasury environment with active exposure to Balance Sheet Management systems and reporting
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Inquisitive nature to question standing assumptions and processes
- Accuracy, and high attention to detail
- Comfortable manipulating and processing data in Excel
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to deadlines
- May be required to work longer hours to meet fixed regulatory deadlines
- Eager to learn and develop accounting and treasury knowledge
- Team player but able to work on own initiative
