The treasury analyst will be responsible for supporting the daily FX and IR risk management process at both a trading and corporate level.
Role Description
- Working within the FX and IR treasury team to ensure FX and IR operations, controls and reporting are run efficiently across the global business at both a trading, structural and corporate level.
- Responsibility for the daily / weekly FX Risk reporting, and FX risk analysis
- Responsible for the daily IR risk reporting of EDFT, North America and other associates.
- FX/IR Dealing and trade booking – Spot, Forwards and Swaps.
- Review and management of FX funding / settlement risk.
- Support daily operations of front office
- Perform reconciliation calculations of commodity hedges and FX execution requests
- Collaborate with treasury members, front office and support functions to add value in the risk management process.
- Support manager with system solutions, technical efficiencies, hedge ideas and new projects
- Adherence to internal policies, processes and methodologies.
Role Requirements
- 1 - 3 years’ experience working within an analytical treasury function, ideally with FX and treasury risk background.
- Good understanding of the FX and IR markets and economics in general
- FX dealing experience (outrights and swaps) an advantage
- Good operational experience.
- General commercial and risk management awareness.
- Studying towards CFA, FRM, ACT or Accounting profession would be an advantage
