Treasury Associate, Liquidity, Optimization & Balance Sheet Management

This position supports the banks Corporate Treasury function in London, cover both broker dealer and branch, across liquidity, funding, balance sheet analytics, reporting, controls, and process improvement.

Role Description

  • The role is responsible for supporting core treasury processes spanning liquidity and funding oversight, balance sheet analysis, management information, regulatory metrics, stress testing support, and senior management reporting. Alongside delivering recurring outputs accurately and on time, the position is also expected to contribute to enhancements in team operating practices, including stronger controls, improved reporting, increased automation, better documentation, and more scalable workflows. The role is well suited to an analytically strong, detail-oriented, and curious individual looking to build corporate treasury expertise while contributing to meaningful improvements in a high impact team.

Role Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience, with exposure to one or more of the following: liquidity and funding measurement and management, capital management, treasury markets, collateral management, business process improvement, and financial reporting
  • Understanding of international financial markets and banking and broker-dealer regulatory environments would be advantageous
  • Good understanding of banking products, secured and unsecured funding, financial instruments, and the main drivers of balance sheet and liquidity movements
  • Exposure to liquidity and funding principles, market and credit risk management practices, funds transfer pricing principles, or trading product operations would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with regulatory ratios, capital or regulatory reporting, stress testing, forecasting, or broader treasury control frameworks would be beneficial
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets and recurring reporting Processes
  • Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and explain movements clearly and in a structured way
  • Strong ownership mindset, with the motivation to improve processes rather than simply operate them
