The successful candidate will lead and enhance finance-led regulatory reporting processes across relevant legal entities, while helping to build a more scalable, automated and robust control environment.
Role Description
- Own and coordinate finance-led regulatory reporting across the relevant legal entities, including monthly, quarterly and other periodic submissions, ensuring clear timetables, high-quality outputs, robust review processes and strong supporting documentation.
- Take end-to-end ownership of safeguarding from a finance and control perspective, including reconciliations, monitoring, return preparation, policy updates, issue resolution and audit readiness. Lead the ongoing development of the safeguarding and regulatory reporting control environment, ensuring key processes are well designed, clearly documented, evidence based, scalable and appropriate for a regulated, fast-moving business.
- Own or support the production, monitoring and explanation of regulatory ratios and related reporting, helping ensure the business is well prepared for increasing regulatory reporting complexity over time.
- Support key regulatory modelling and planning activity, including capital and liquidity analysis, stress testing, ICAAP, ILAAP, Recovery Plan and Wind-Down work, in close partnership with Risk, Treasury and Compliance.
- Strengthen the control framework around regulatory processes by identifying weaknesses, defining remediation actions, embedding effective review steps and improving governance over critical reporting, reconciliations and regulatory submissions.
- Drive automation across the regulatory finance agenda, including reporting, reconciliations, MI production and control evidence, with a clear focus on reducing manual intervention, improving consistency and increasing reliability.
- Work with Engineering, Operations and Product on changes affecting safeguarding, regulatory reporting flows, reconciliations or control design, ensuring finance and regulatory requirements are properly reflected in process and system solutions.
- Assess new products, business changes and regulatory developments from a regulatory reporting, finance, liquidity and control perspective, providing clear recommendations and practical follow-through.
- Produce clear, credible reporting and analysis for senior stakeholders, and communicate complex regulatory reporting and control matters in a simple, commercially useful way.
Role Requirements
- Strong experience in bank regulatory reporting (COREP/ PRA 110), safeguarding, financial controls or a closely related finance role within a regulated financial services environment, with relevant experience in banking as well as payments, e-money or fintech.
