One the UK’s fasted growing corporate and retail banks are looking for a Treasury Dealer to provide support to the Treasury Dealing Manager on all execution operations. The Bank are headquartered in the City of London and offer hybrid working.
Role Description
- Responsible for the daily cash position of all group companies, involving the review of treasury payments, obtaining authorisations, and tracking payments/receipts
- Investment of surplus funds in line with the treasury policy, ALCO and regulatory large exposure limits and within credit rating restrictions for individual SPVs
- Execution of Interest rate and FX swaps, money market investments, repo and fixed income
- Responsible for the execution of Sterling Monetary Framework operations with the Bank of England
- Management of collateral
- Monitor counterparty exposures against internal and regulatory limits, reviewing ratings on a regular basis
- Maintain and develop relationships with bank counterparties and brokers
- Provide information regarding Front Office operations to support management information and regulatory reporting
- Manage KYC requests from counterparties
- Assist with the updating and evolution of the treasury management system
Role Requirements
- Bank Treasury experience executing treasury products including money market investments, repo transactions, fixed income securities, FX and interest rate derivatives
- Degree in a numerate discipline such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Finance or a related field (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential
- Good analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy in all matters is essential as many business decisions are based on the information Treasury supplies
- Ability to learn, take responsibility for, and implement dealing, regulatory and change initiatives
- Ability to deal with a communicate complex information quickly and effectively
- Team player but capable of working on their own
